Welcome to our on-line store. Legacy Vintage Building Materials & Antiques opened for business in 1998 on the former site of the C.P. Railway yard in Cobourg, Ontario.
THE WAREHOUSE & GROUNDS : On the main floor of our 8000 sq. Ft. Warehouse you will find specialized departments for lighting, hardware, leaded windows, extraordinary doors, plumbing, weigh scales, metal & wooden trims, gates, housewares, fireplace mantles & accessories, tin ceiling & garden ornaments. Downstairs we have over 2, 000 doors sorted as to function, style & size as well as signs, stair parts, shutters & odd bits of cabinets & furniture. In our 3 acre yard you will find antique hardwood & softwood flooring, barnboard, timbers, steel roofing, masonry, trims & baseboard.
LEGACY'S ADDITIONAL SERVICES : The optimal way for us to provide you with the best & most unusual architectural pieces is to go out & get them ourselves & this process begins with you. If you have a dismantling project in mind, such as a cabin, old homestead, church, historical building or barn, call us. We can explain in detail how we go about taking structures down, salvaging & removing them. Or, if you would like to buy an existing structure or relocate it to another spot, we can help you with that too. As the majority of our experience in building & renovation has grown over the past four decades primarily in historic & architecturally meritorious projects we are more than able to assist you with any of your renovating or new construction questions.
SHIPPING : We are pleased to ship orders anywhere in the world.
