Installed in the 40, 000 sq ft factory is a range of decoiling equipment giving Dobel an ever increasing throughput of steel sheet, blanks and slit coils, produced to tolerances demanded by the industry.

1993 saw the commissioning of a state-of-the-art Durmech cut-to-length line specially designed for processing Aluzink and pre-painted steel. This cut-to-length line can handle sheet from 0.35mm to 2.00mm thick and up to 12 metres in length by 1.5 metres wide, this complemented the existing Bigwood cut-to-length line which can process 0.35mm ? 1.5mm in lengths up to 12 metres by 1.25m wide.
