INSULECT SK-03 is a single component electric insulation coating designed to impart high electric strength for electrical applications. Its application leads to the formation of a tough film over a surface. Because it is highly hydrophobic, INSULECT SK-03 has excellent water repellant properties. Its film helps to reduce leakage currents, resulting into reduction in contamination flashovers.

Application of INSULECT SK-03 helps enhance safety and prevent deaths due to electrocution. It can be applied on electrical equipments, poles and exposed cables to prevent accidental deaths of birds, animals and human beings.
2. Excellent resistance to UV radiation:
INSULECT SK-03 provides excellent ultra violet radiation resistance. This makes it suitable for outdoor exposure and for extreme weather conditions. Once coated with INSULECT SK-03, the applied part does not require any maintenance like water washing or greasing.
Product Applications :
INSULECT SK-03 is easy to apply and does not require skilled manpower for its application. The single pack, ready-to-use product can be applied on surfaces of any geometry like bend bus-bars, twisted bus-bars as well as all metals from aluminum, brass, and copper to ceramic and porcelain. It dries up quickly at room temperature.
