SGG BIOCLEAN, Saint-Gobain Glass? self-cleaning glass, is active thanks to the dual action of sun and rain.
SGG BIOCLEAN?s innovative feature is a titanium oxide-based ultra-thin layer which is deposited on the glass during the manufacturing process. This layer reacts with natural elements such as sunshine?s ultraviolet rays and rainwater to let the glass rid itself of accumulated dirt. With SGG BIOCLEAN, sunshine causes the breakdown of organic dirt, while rainwater or washing water eliminates the residues in a uniform fashion. Result: window panes self-clean and stay clean for longer periods of time.
SGG BIOCLEAN self-cleaning glass can be used on all fa?ades: public or commercial buildings such as airports, schools or office complexes, residential dwellings.
