Latest arrival in the Saint-Gobain Glass Design interior design product line, SGG FEELING is a glass tile intended as an interior wall finish in residential settings and offices for professionals.
As easy to cut and install as conventional tiles, SGG FEELING breaks with traditional ceramic aesthetics. Eight deep colors, two metallic shades, four patterns: the range of products plays with the glass? transparency and allows creation of a very original atmosphere, both soft and colorful. "We worked with two designers and one color-consultant" explains Isabelle Bernheim, Manager Glass and Interior Products and Markets at Saint-Gobain Glass. "Effects will vary depending on the light and the viewing angle."
The 2005 Janus prize was rewarded to SGG FEELING by the French Institute of Design to recognize the most creative realizations in design.
Part of the originality of this innovative product is the cooperation between companies from three different Sectors of the Group. Saint-Gobain Weber (Construction Products) selected the installation adhesives and several brands from the Building Distribution Sector took over marketing of the product line (Point. P and specialized brands in France, CTD and Word?s End Tiles in the United Kingdom, Raab Karcher in Germany and The Netherlands). A product of the Flat Glass sector, distributed by Building Distribution brands, installed with Weber & Broutin adhesives: a great example of synergy!
